Highlighting this year is a series of week-long classes
at William Holland Lapidary School. It's a beautiful
retreat in the gorgeous North Georgia Mountains, just
includes the materials and comes to approximately
$500 for the entire week - including room and board
(the bulk of the expense). You can't beat that!

Another special option is to schedule a private class
here at my local studio - nestled in a quiet hollar
(that's southern for 'hollow') just 20 minutes north of
Asheville, one of the greatest art communities in the
eastern regions. Two or three day intense sessions
available, with local, charming B&B's just a doorstep
away. This quaint and engaging adventure, tailored
to your needs will cost about the same - $300-500,
depending on your length of stay. If an intense one on
one session is what you are looking for - I am here to
accommodate. Just call me at my local number,
828-689-8623.

I will also be visiting favorites including The
Beaded
Frog in Greenville, SC, and Carolina Stamper in
Beaufort, SC as well as my local connection - OOAK
Gallery in Micaville and TRAC in Spruce Pine, NC.
This year's classes are highlighting face, flower and
butterfly canes - and the use of simple graphics with
dynamic design (beginning classes).  Dolls and collage
are also reflective of an on-going interest in texture
and visual balance. I will be doing some encaustic
classes - just because I love beeswax! It reminds me
of translucent  polymer. I'm still adding to this
schedule, so if you'd like a class in your area, now is
a great time to connect. For pricing and information,
click the 'about classes' bar at right.
